Joseph Okotto-Okotto is a Director of Technical and Research Support Services at the Victoria Institute of Research on Environment and Development (VIRED) International. Having worked with the Lake Basin Development Authority for over 37 years, Mr. Okotto-Okotto’s research focuses on monitoring long-term change in land and water resources to support planning and management. He uses mixed methodological approaches, particularly environment geospatial tools and participatory mapping, for monitoring community natural resource use and its present and future consequences for public health.
